PORGY

PORGY Love & Purity exists in the darkest places. Porgy was directly inspired by Nina Simone's 1959 performance & rendition of "I Love You Porgy" at the playboy mansion. To capture a moment so pure & real in an environment which doesn't reflect it amongst dark forces felt like something that exists today and most likely forever until the end of time. Oblivious to what's going on in the world around me, love kept me inspired and motivated to create the most vulnerable art possible. Even when everything around you is filled with darkness or emptiness, the love inside you or that you create keeps you alive. I was homeless, travelling, in countryside studios or in empty rooms with one bright light no water no food for days while writing and producing this.
